Prerequisites for This Training
Christian Youth Camps Waihola Incoorporated (or CYC Waihola) has a rich, vibrant and wonderful history of evangelistic outreach camps run by volunteer leaders.
Nobody ever really likes training …. so we’ve tried our best to keep the course as short and concise as possible. We’ve stripped it down to the bare essentials that you need to know to be a camp volunteer with us.
Each lesson in the training course may have a quiz that needs to be completed as part of passing the lesson. The quizzes are based on the essential information only in each lesson.
There is additional content in the course that is not-essential for you to learn. It’s included to further help you to be the best camp volunteer you can but if you’re in a hurry or not interested in knowing more than the essential stuff, then you can skip over these recommendation and advice boxes. The content is found in one of the 3 coloured boxes listed below.
*PLEASE NOTE
Anyone is welcome to complete this course. However, to be signged off by CYC Waihola Staff as suitable to be a camp volunteer you will need to meet all the following requirements:
– Have a living faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, a love devotion to serve Him.
– Be 14 Years or older
– Complete a Ministry Staff Form and any other required vetting requirements.
